@doommic if it’s hurting your neck then perhaps you’re not breathing properly and also try feel the tension while doing the ‘push through’ in your upper abs and dont tense your neck keep is loose. Hope that helps.

If you work them too often you’re not giving the lactic acid built up from working out enough time to dissipate. Make sure you warm up appropriately, and look how to do proper, slow, perfect form. For the weighted sit ups put your feet under a couch, hold a dumbell, and come up slowly, and down slowly. Remember, good diet and cardio are more important for your abs to show.
