Fight back by creating a citizen owned and citizen controlled Freedom Internet. By using a modified over-the-horizon radar system modified to carry internet signals, television signals, radio signals besides it’s original purpose of transmitting and receiving radar signals. Linux has a radio modem interface that allows it to create a radio-based internet network to be created globally overnight. And all Geeks must help develop a new FreeBSD-based Linux/Java OS in order to fight back against them

The same companies and government officials who wants to destroy internet neutrality, freedom, equality, and democratic accessibility are using a new strategy and tactic which is to neglect the upkeep and maintenance of the 1st and Original Internet of it’s electronic and electrical infra-technostructural maintenance and repair needs in order to allow it to be destroyed by deliberate neglect so that it will break down and force us on the new TOTALITARIAN and Anti-Freedom Internet 2!

  7. mozaks80 says:

@Suitsnappy… our (AUS) internet was just ‘taken over’ by the gov, and no it’s not good, especially when the right-wing religious groups are right behind it so as to help determine which content to block. Can’t wait for the protests to break out! It surely wouldnt be much better if big business took over it either, but better nonetheless.

  8. Suitsnappy says:

The way I see it, we have 2 option: 1) Let the corporations control the Internet. 2) Let the government control the Internet. Is it or just me or do NONE of the available options look very good?

@MrGeorgeross: I understand that you have some anger issues. I also know that you are lonely and in need of human interaction. All of which is fine, but your methods of reaching for attention will usually get people to ignore you. If you want to talk or discuss, then try doing it with a little more thought and intelligence. Do you even realize how ridiculous you sound, “fuck the internet” and yet you are on the internet. Being a complete dick without any sense makes no sense at all. Comprende?

It’s only a bullshit conspiracy theory until the all the truth has come out and then people realize it wasn’t a conspiracy theory at all, but actual fact and reality.

I base my life and actions on facts. My view is not myopic, I understand the idea of a conspiracy. I am just a betting man, and I always put my money on the highest probability. This is known as human logic.

  24. w0smith says:

Once again, there isn’t nearly enough choice in the market for consumers to have enough leverage to make those decisions – and this isn’t just about individual consumers – this is about business. ISPs could wipe out potential competitors and innovative start ups by refusing them access. Power companies can’t refuse you electricity based on what you intend to use it for – thus it should be for the internet. Internet access will be just as important as having electricity or running water.

  25. w0smith says:

What difference does it make how the White House chooses to label fox news? News Corp is a huge corporation that can fend for themselves – no one is trying to silence them. But considering they devote 24/7 coverage to trying to destroy Obama, and heavily promote political activism against the left – I think the accusation that they aren’t a traditional news outlet is appropriate and well earned.
