  2. oermbkos says:

260 billion page views per month for Facebook does not equate to almost 37.4 trillion page views per year. Last time I checked, there were 12 months in a year. More like 3.1 trillion.

Well, ranting about it will probably not change a thing. Why don’t you start a petition or something and contact YouTube? Perhaps you could team up with some right-wing Christians or something.

It’s true that almost everybody cusses from time to time. It’s one thing among friends in a private setting – and a curse word or two even on You Tube isn’t that bad – but these people that produce these obscenity filled diatribes on here- well, that it is just not appropriate in a public arena. It makes the poster come across as a very angry and maladjusted person. You would think that people would realize that. But I guess they think it is cute or something.

Surviving without foul-mouthed users, eh? I bet that more than 50 % of the YouTube community swear at least from time to time.

  13. crazyazn4christ says:

  14. winchesterdoug says:

    real classy!

  15. winchesterdoug says:

I think they would survive without foul-mouthed users. – The lack of civility in today’s society is pathetic and really shows how selfish and self-centered people have become. It is not a pretty thing.

  16. MoaiMaea says:

Apparently you missed the irony in my comment. Me using “foul and obscene language” while you were ranting about it in the previous comment, that is.

Anyways, it is theoretically possible but not really worth the effort. Besides, they would lose SHITLOADS of users that way. And a capitalistic concern like Google would never risk something like that out of decency or whatever you might call it.
